The MT-07 arrived as an affordable, fun naked bike built around a 689 cc crossplane twin with a 270-degree crank for strong low and mid-range pull. A light steel diamond frame with the engine as a stressed member kept the weight under 180 kg. It targeted both new riders and experienced ones looking for a cheap thrill.
